Verrion enjoys creating art, writing (children's books, short stories, and poetry), and performing spoken word as a hobby in his free time. Verrion was chosen as a local performer to showcase this talent for the PATH Performs! Art in Transit Program in 2019. 

 

   His poetry passion is what inspires him to create imaginative and rhythmic stories that make learning fun. From the 3rd grade, he started illustrating, sketching, coloring, painting, and outlining. Then his sister (Nadine) bought him an American Poetry book with Wordsworth, Langston Hughes, Robert Frost, and Maya Angelou. Since books were a core part of his childhood, his other influences are Shel Silverstein, Marc Brown, and Dr. Suess. So it's always been his dream to "Tell Great Stories" using both his love for poetry and art. 

 

   Not only is he super creative, but he has also been in advertising and marketing for more than 15 years. He brings his passion for marketing to Blue Wright by developing marketing and content strategies to connect with parents and children.
